I'm saying, 2018 looks like a great year for year for games since a lot of those said games were pushed back leaving less good games to play this Christmas season.

With 2017 being the year of the Lootbox I'm a bit worried that 2018 is turning into the year of the Playable Movie.

Red Dead 2 is going to crush everything else as far as I can tell. Like Shaq running through a Japanese Airport trying to catch his plane on time.

Days Gone? Meh.
Detroit? Meh.
Last of Us 2? Meh.
Shenmue 3? Triple meh.

Spider-man could go either way. I have high hopes for it.

Monster Hunter World might be next year's Horizon Zero Dawn. Hopefully even better.

I was emphasizing Last of Us 2. I didn't know a sequel was in the works. Excited about that. I bolded it, but it didn't show up unless you expand your quote there...

The issue Im going to have with a lot of these games is that they are going to be super negative. Of the 3 (Last of Us 2, Days Gone and Detroit) I think Detroit Become Human has the most upside from a story standpoint. I think it could end up being something pretty special but it could also fall on its face.

Ni No Kuni 2 might be pretty good, too. Apparently they are scrapping the combat system from the 1st one and thats the main issue I had with it.

As a sidenote, I can already tell you that the ending of Last of Us 2 will be a cliffhanger for Last of Us 3 with 99% certainty.
