Okay, well nothing is even close to official yet, and for all I know, not even in consideration, but this thought crossed my mind as soon as I saw he was released by the Ravens. I'm not the only one, either. The good people at Predominantly Orange seem to think it's worth considering too!

We've talked about this a few times this off-season. Id be fine bringing Doom back in place of Ware... Shane Ray is about to take off. I fear the Raiders could nab Doom to go along with Mack. A savvy vet who still has something left in the tank and won't be looking for a 5 year contract.

Seems like we have seen it a bit recently. I think the biggest thing is a player coming off an injury.. .For instance. Alshon Jeffery could have cashed in this year with the Vikings, instead he chose the 1 year contract route thinking he could get more with a good year with the Eagles and proving he can stay healthy. After his suspension he lost a little momentum going into free agency and feels he can make the money up this year.
