Game Thread: Week 3 vs Idaho State

At least in picking an in-state opponent to face we picked the better one of the two

Idaho State was pretty good at the FCS level last year, they went 8-4, with blowout losses to Utah and Utah State

but close losses to Eastern Washington and Montana State, they didn't miss the FCS playoffs by much

This year it's tough to tell, they got pummeled by Portland State at home last weekend, but Portland State could be improved as they already beat Washington State

We of course struggle on offense, but are great on defense, our defense should lead us to a win in this one

so far our offense had bursts of scoring the majority of our points in the 2nd quarter of week one, and the 3rd quarter of week two, and it hasn't gotten a first down in the 4th quarter yet I believe

so with that

we score 21 in the first quarter of this one

and win

31-10

Forgot to mention that Idaho State runs the exact same kind of defense that we mostly struggle against but during a brief part of the game find a solution to, before falling apart late.
