After watching how so many teams struggled in week 1, this poll and the next few will be complete jokes. It's going to take a while before we know who is really legit and who is pretenders.

A few thoughts. I still have USC at number 1. South Carolina should not be top 10. I would remove Michigan and TCU and replace them with Notre Dame and Louisville.

I agree that waiting a little while longer is best before anyone complains. I gave several teams the benefit of the doubt for at least 1 week. After next week, 2 so-so performances and they'll drop in the polls.
