it is crucial to see how sudfeld handles the offense the rest of the day. if he can make smart decisions, take care of the ball and show he can do exactly what foles does.. then he will be a legit option to replace foles in the playoffs if he bombs.

Foles looked like .... well, not a guy you want starting a playoff game. Here's to hoping Suds tears it up in the 2nd half ... ultimately I see this year being a huge missed opportunity with the Wentz injury

Foles was dismal today and yes, it’s bitter cold. But Sudfeld appeared to be handling it well and looked to be in good control. Too early to say, but he might just be able to push Foles off the roster in the future once he settles down and gets playing time.

Sudfeld looks like what he is a 3rd string rookie QB signed off a practice squad

I know Foles hasn't looked good and I am not comfortable going into the playoffs with him as QB but he will give the Eagles a better chance of winning than Sudfeld
No knock against Sudfeld but c'mon man he is a practice squad QB - needs more seasoning - more experience - etc.

i get what you're saying.. but we're still talking about foles. i'm a foles fan myself, but who is to say sudfeld isn't better right now? one thing is for sure, he can certainly move better.

foles is a streaky QB. sudfeld might be needed if a playoff game turns out to be just like today. we can be down like 10-0 to start the 4th and need a spark or something. it's important to know sudfeld can make certain throws, use his legs, etc.

Look at it this way, if they go far into the playoffs, people will be pleasantly surprised. If they don’t, people won’t be disappointed.
