Well, everyone has seen the news that many of the starters will be rested on the final game. We will see Mannion, Brown, and a lot of Smart among others. I think this may be a bit of an error because of potential rust for the playoff game but I understand McVay's thought processes and his approach and he is rewarding a lot of players for a good year. We have the best chance of facing Atlanta in the playoffs so resting is probably a good thing in the long run. Only Time will tell. Stay tuned and I'll be there to watch Mannion and others get after the Forty-Niners and end the year 12-4. If not, I'll take 11-5 and the NFC West especially watching Seattle having a pretty good chance of being eliminated!!

If the Rams had a bye week next week I would say play the starters but a week off may do some good. And can anyone imagine what would be said of our young coach if one of them were to get hurt? That would not be good. I still think the Rams can handle the 9ers. The defense and ST will do what they do and the backup offense will be playing their asses off. Just get to the QB and get him out of his game and all will be fine.

Everyone that wanted to see Mannion play will now get their chance ( although, a year and a few months late ).

He won't have all the weapons at his disposal, so it won't be an accurate assessment, but it will be interesting to see how far he's come ( or not come ).

9ers are hot right now, and with several key defensive players sitting out, Jimmy G will probably have a big game, so we will see if Mannion and Co. can keep up.

This was going to be a difficult game, even if the starters that are going to rest were going to play. For this game, I'm not expecting too much and just hoping that nobody gets a serious injury going into the playoffs.
