week 1 big game showdowns

Well there are two big games happening during week one, but since week 1 is usually a schedule of cupcakes here is a list of some games that will be decent to watch (no cupcakes) predictions:

Ole Miss vs BYU - 28-17

TCU vs Baylor (Robert Griffin) - 30-21

Minnesota vs USC - 28-17

Boise State vs Georgia 28-17

Oregon vs LSU 36-24

Miami vs Maryland 21-17

interesting disney has decided to put BSU/Georgia and Oregon/LSU on at the same time.

I never really know what to expect from Maryland, that team runs so hot and cold it's hard to figure out.

maryland took miami into overtime last year and miami barley pulled it out, i cant rember the last time miami played well at maryland, at least it wont be cold

what is being reported is the starting qb spot is a wide open competion, who knows but at least morris beat maryland last year so if he did start he has seen this team before but i take no comfort in harris or morris, harris plays like a sophmore and morris is a sophmore

its huge but miaim doesnt need it, miami draws a crowd at just about every road game, yes i know the home fan base doesnt fill the stadium but they never filled it when they were winning and the stats show that but on the road miami is a big draw, during the tebow run when miami went up to gainesville they set the largest crowd ever in the swamp, and miami was a 7-6 team the year before or worse and the following week uf had a top 5 lsu in the swamp but more showed up for the miami game,go figure

I'm predicting Oregon can't do anything with new starters on the offensive line against LSU's defense, plus Oregon always goes for 2 so that's why they have 18. Meanwhile LSU has no offense, and Oregon's defense didn't look too bad in the Co-National Championship against Auburn.

I don't know if the Terps defense is good or not, but I'm predicting about 4 picks thrown by the Miami quarterbacks.
