I made my thoughts on Moore being the #2 behind Romo known many times, but I'm fine with him fighting for #2 behind Dak. Any QB can get hurt, but with Dak we don't need a QB of the future on the roster and it's no longer an almost certainty that the QB will miss at least some time.. So I'm fine with this move. Glad actually.

I'll also point out that with $5M savings from Free and $5M more from Romo we could basically have signed almost any FA we wanted to. This team no longer feels the need to spend cap dollars as soon as we free them up and that too makes me quite happy.

I'm only 37 and never saw Staubach play but I did see Dorsett play as a young boy. I never did get to meet Tom Landry in person either but that isn't a litmus test for being a Cowboys fan.
