Do you think only one SEC team makes it in? Unfortunately, I think they get two in. Two of Alabama, auburn Georgia and the 2 Mississippi teams.

yeah they will get 2 teams, FSU goes 12-0 and and we go 11-1 and we are in.

Question: Don't you have to win your league to go to the playoffs. I thought that was one of the new rules so u have a real champ. Got to be a champ in your league to be called Nat Champs. Again this is just a question

I don't think it is. You really have to look at other teams outside of ND

I did already. Go check it out.

Let's say FSU go 13-0, Oregon goes 12-1, MSU goes 12-1, Bama goes 12-1, Ole Miss goes 12-1, and TCU goes 11-1.

You really think ND will make the playoffs with our weak schedule this year? All of those 1 L teams would have beaten stronger teams than we did if they finish with only 1 L

We need help because of Stanford sucking.

remember Texas AM win isn't a good win now. remember only 1 of the 3 can make it to the playoffs between Miss, Ole miss and Bama. The other SEC team that makes it will be from the East.

Miss st: Alabama, and Ole miss plus Conference champ game.
Ole Miss: Miss st, Auburn and Conference champ game if they make it.
Bama: Has 1 loss and still have Miss st, LSU and Auburn

All Sec teams will beat themselves up. Most will have 2 Ls except maybe one team from each division.

FSU: lets hope goes 12-0

Oregon: Plays in a weak PAc 12 this year. Lost to a non rank team. They still have Stanford, Cal, Utah, plus conference game. say they go 11-1 and ND goes 11-1 ND would jump them. They lost to Arizona and we lost to the defending champs on the road on a last play of the game. They lost at home to Arizona.

Trust me its a lock. SEC can only have 2 teams. Any more it will show that the NCAA is bias to SEC.

ND looks good at 11-1

It's not a weak schedule

And you're forgetting our 1 loss will be on the road to FSU by 4 points.

Wrong about Oregon(They lost to Arizona at Home). ND lost on the road to defending champs.

MSU plays a weaker schedule then us and they lost Oregon. MSU hasn't looked good. They still have OSU and PEnn St plus conference champ game.

TCU not even in the picture.

4 teams make it. FSU lets hope they go 12-0, 2 SEC teams(one from each division, and ND.

Trust me ND looks good at 8. Now if FSU falls apart then ND might be in trouble.

Yes I agree. Oregon hasn't looked better then us, MSU hasn't looked better and TCU is TCU. They lost Over rated baylor team.

My biggest fear is the Big Ten winner. If Ohio state wins out they will be 11-1 with their only loss being the first game of the season. If we win out, the PAC 12 will look really weak, unless it's Oregon. If its not Oregon, the conference winner will have at least two losses. With one loss, Oregon will get in over us. That leaves two from the SEC, FSU and either Oregon or Ohio State (or MSU).

No way OSU jumps us. They lost to Vtech.

NCAA will look foolish if 11-1 Oregon who lost to Arizona gets ahead of 11-1 ND team who lost on the road to defending champs on a last sec call by the refs. No way in hell oregon gets over us. Plus we would have beat ASU, USC and Stanford who oregon plays. I just don't see it.

11-1 ND team makes it. TCU, OSU and MSU won't jump us or knock us out. I agree Oregon is the only shot but I just don't see. oregon has no argument over ND.

Dude the schedule is weak. It did not look that way at the start of the year but a lot of the teams on our schedule are under performing.

Michigan looked like an 8 or 9 win team with their schedule at the start of the year and now they'll be lucky if they even finish .500

UNC started the year in the top 25 and just like Michigan they'll be lucky to finish bowl eligible. Best case scenario for them IMO is 7-5.

Stanford looked like a top 15 team at start of the year but now they look like a team who at best will finish with 8 wins.

Navy is awful.

Northwestern is basically the same situation as UNC & Michigan. They'll be lucky if they finish .500 but 5-7 looking more likely.

Louisville looking like it will be a good win if we win that game. They're 6-2 with a tough L @ Clemson on the final play or so. If they can do the impossible and upset FSU next thursday, they'll be 8-2 when they come to South Bend on November 22nd. If they beat FSU, that may be our best win as I would have them finishing 9-3 if they beat FSU.

So pretty much barring an unbelievable end to the year by Stanford, our only good wins are looking like ASU, USC, and Louisville if we win those games.....and if you want to be truthful to yourself, all of those teams may not finish better than 8-4.

OR ...

I'm honestly not mad at all. The best QB in the country played like that in the 2nd half. We stood toe to toe with the defending champs in their house. We did almost everything well except for stop Jameis in the 2nd half. Our offense was flawless for the most part.

The only thing I'm mad about is the offensive PI that could have been avoided.

If we play like this the rest of the year, we will go 11-1 and be in the playoffs.

We can't overlook any team though. Each team must have 100% of our attention.

We are such a good offensive team when EG isn't having the careless turnovers

:suds:

No moral victory here. I'm just thinking about the playoffs though.

I know if we play this way we will win out and probably get another shot at FSU in the playoffs.

I would be much more pissed if this was the BCS system

I really wish you'd make up your mind in all of this. Seriously. :noidea:

My comments were made before Stanford wet the bed against Arizona state. Really thought they would have won last night and finish the year 9-3. Stanford doesn't look legit and doesn't look like a legit win at the moment. Our best case scenario is asu & usc both win out excluding the game against us. If that happens we should be in because that will be a 9 & 10 win team we beat away from south bend. However if those lose 1 or 2 more games in addition to losing to us, our chances doesn't look good unless other teams finish with 2 losses.
