Obviously a lot of this depends on who I think is returning and where I think a couple of the uncommited high school players will commit.

SHU at an 11 is very low. Even though I assume it's because you are assuming Whitehead does stay in the draft.

Yeah, I am assuming Whitehead stays in the draft. If not they'll be in play for a top 6 seed again.

I feel like Nova will be going back to back. Our coaching staff is nothing but top notch from top to bottom. We will also have Jenkins, Hart, Bridges, and Brunson returning along with Spellman and Paschall. Our team will be stacked and will be making a run for that 2017 NCAA Championship!

Before the tournament, I thought next year's team would be even better. But that was before that ridiculous run. It will be hard pressed to duplicate that.

The only teams that typically repeat are 'dominant' teams and we won't have that.

Next year actually looks pretty wide open too. Duke is the favorite, but they are young at key positions and the defense is a question mark.

And UK as usual is a wait and see.

Nobody else is scary in the least.

Have a feeling that a 2 seed for UVA will be accurate. Austin Nichols is coming in after sitting out a year after transferring from Memphis and Kyle Guy looks like he's going to be a damn good player. And best of all... no more Evan Nolte taking up space on the roster.

To be fair, you're right. This years run was arguably one of the most exciting runs in NCAA history. I however like our chances of at least getting to the F4. Jay Brunson will finally have a bigger role. Duke will obviously be up there with us but I don't see them winning anything next year and maybe just maybe, Jay Wright and co could have something cooking for the future of Nova Basketball.

I look at this win as more than a championship. The championship is just the cherry on top. We can finally hang with the big boys (Kansas, Duke, Kentucky, ECT.) when it comes to future recruiting instead of being a 3rd class option for the 5 stars. Prospects are going to want to play for Nova and Wright now that he's a proven winner. I like our future.

Bennett has built UVA into a top 10 program. I have no doubt he can maintain success even losing Brogdon and Gill. Nichols is probably better than Gill anyway, and Tobey is pretty replaceable as well. Brogdon will be harder to replace, but the combination of Thompson, Shayok, Hall and Guy should be more than capable.

Lunar has Iowa as a 7 and you have the Next 4 Out. I think they'll be lucky to break .500 and that's only if Jok comes back

Yeah I was a little surprised to see him have Iowa as a 7 seed. He's basically predicting the same season as they just had but Iowa is losing 4 starters(and potentially Jok, although, I believe he returns)

I was surprised at the 7 seed. But you really think Iowa will be that bad?

Yes. We have no PG. No real big man. We lose all our leaders. Not going to be good

I also think that Diakite is going to be poised to have a good season after mainly being a bench guy learning the system this year. I'm thinking that Salt is just going to be a poor man's Evan Nolte unfortunately, a bench player that gets a few minutes a game or comes in if it's a blowout but nothing more than that. Hoping that Wilkins will keep improving as well.
