Just curious...have any of you tried a Beyond Burger? We cut out beef and pork a while ago to try and eat healthier. I'm sure a big burger eater may not agree but I think they are great tasting. To me they really taste like beef. They are equal to beef in fat but have zero cholesterol and they are 100% vegetable.
Anyway if any of you are on the no meat thing you should give them a try.

If you get the chance to try one I'd be curious to hear what you think. I couldn't believe it wasn't a real beef burger I was eating. I had to give up meat for my diet so this thing is huge in my house.

You have to go to Whole Foods to get them (if you even have one in your area; I don't in NY). Probably pretty expensive as well.

Yeah they are as high in fat as real beef so if you are trying to lose weight they won't help much and they are more expensive than beef, but I was amazed at the taste and texture of them. They even bleed (beet juice) when you cook them. Give man kind enough time and we can do anything...lol
