... for the first two games (Auburn and Ball State). This was the low end of the punishment, and I think it is appropriate. Harsh, but appropriate; he made a poor decision and seems like he has done all the right things, but the punishment is deserved.

I accept this suspension, I made a mistake and realized that when this first happened. One thing that we learn in this program is that there are consequences for your actions. The entire summer has been a learning experience. I am ready to get past this and look forward to September 15 when I can return to game day in Death Valley."

Surprised some think this is a tad too harsh? What did they expect Dabo to do? Act like it didn't happen? I think it is right in line with what happened. Hopefully ( for Clemson's sake) he can keep his nose clean for the rest of season.

Couldn't agree more. It's nice to see coaches hold kids accountable instead of pulling the typical "well, you're suspended for the first half" or even worse "you're suspended for the second and third games against the schools for the deaf and blind".
