Rumor has it Gomez is a clubhouse nut job. Maybe a drunk or dopehead or likes to fuck stray cats, minor things if he's an all-star, but not so much hitting like Drew Stubbs. He's a free agent at the end of the year, so not a lot to lose on a DFA or waiver. The Stros have an OF or OF prospect from half the MLB teams organizations, and a few they even drafted. They don't need this guy.
