It got off to an unbelievable start with Gameday. There was Lee Corso/Bill Murray (lol piggly wiggly?), the drunk Clemson fan pouring what appeared to be a whiskey coke all over his face, and Samme Coates of Auburn slinging down a aTm defensive back to the ground. I thought that was enough. But then Florida State dropped this bomb on us all

all 3 of the SEC targeting ejections were silly. the rule is really hurting the sport. the rule should be more of a judgment call and not so rigid. throw out a player for being dirty, not for some garbage like that.

Might not be targeting in my mind, but he clearly takes three steps after the ball is out of his hands. That's just asking for it when you are staring right at the QB who has clearly released the ball. Best case scenario was he was going to get 15 yards for roughing.

It's slow motion, and he clearly takes a step and half at most. Even so, call it roughing the passer, I have not problem with that. But targeting and ejection? Not a chance.
