POLL Was ND's Safety Bad Execution Or Kelly Messing With the Center's Head?

Interested in thoughts on this. Mustipher hadn't had any issues until the hurricane he was asked to play in. Then Kelly makes him a scapegoat.

On the other hand, the formation never looked right. It looked doomed to fail from the start. Thoughts?

I just think he isn't good. Players had to stop being soft. He has been bad all season.

I don't think he's been bad all season. Inconsistent, for sure. But we didn't see the kind of issues until last week. He needed to flush it. It's become endemic though, like the turnovers in 2011. Once they started, they couldn't stop.

As far as execution goes, Mustipher went from snapping to a 6'4" QB to a 5'11" QB. And Zaire for some reason, was standing about 2 yards closer than normal because he didn't want to be standing in the end zone. Those two things combined to cause the snap to blaze over his head.

But because Kelly decided to make a scene about it it's all that got talked about.
