This should easily be the most fun series to watch. Both teams are going to be getting up and down the court. If I remember right the games between the two teams were all really tight.
Wish the Nuggets had a healthy Kenneth Faried to battle David Lee.
This is going to be about turnovers and free throws. If the Warriors can limit the free throws they have good shot at winning this series. If they are able to play defense without fouling every other possession they will win. Likewise if the Nuggets are able to force TOs and get to the line they will win.
Denver is a poor shooting team but they get a lot of transition buckets. Warriors are going to have to count on Klay Thompson to have a good series. Barnes are going to step up too.
Klay is a plus for GSW. I'm thinking thats going to be the matchup Denver will lose. So I expect to see AI on Klay for long periods of time. They can get away with putting someone on Harrison Barnes because he defers too much.
I'd be surprised if GS can keep the Nuggets off the free-throw line. They took between 24 and 30 in every game vs. the Warriors. I'd be shocked if GS wins a game in Denver.
GS is a good team at home, but not as good as the Nuggets are at home (who is?). GS struggles on the road. They have some great shooters over there. Look for a score of 120-115 in every game.
The defense will really need to tighten up and yes the turnovers will kill them. I'm also concerned about second shots. This will be the first time for many of their starters so it will depend on how quickly they adjust.
the nuggets play well at home but there's so many things that factor into their home record. Their play of the floor is maybe 3rd on that list. The playoffs will be different mainly because the scheduling and rest the warriors will have.
Both teams get the same rest so what does that have to do with anything. Don't tell me you bought into the idea that the schedule makers are responsible for the Nuggets home record?
