I can see we're all pumped up for "rivalry week". Tuesday, middle of the day, still no game thread? I guess I'll be that guy.

Beamer... coaches... boys... please fucking win this one. Keep the current longest bowl streak and the ownership of Commonwealth Cup Virginia Tech properties.

They've got some talent this year. So does Virginia Tech. I know VT has the ability, so it's time to use it. At this point, I don't know if they need more tricks or less, but they need to do something different, as in less predictable. They've had a lot of offense this year, but it always seems to be one score short. I sure would like to see this one go VT's way.

They have nothing to lose, so as far as I'm concerned, Loeffler can unleash the Kracken already.

I don't have too many nice things to say about Loeffler's play calls, but he certainly sounds like a coach you'd want to rally behind here.....

The way we've played this season, especially last week, has me to the point where I almost don't really care if we win or lose. I'd like to win, but if we lose, I won't be so bummed about it as I would in any other year. Our level of play, the coaching moves, the mindnumbingly stupid plays and penalties have all been far more disappointing than a loss to UVA would be for me.

I don't have too many nice things to say about Loeffler's play calls, but he certainly sounds like a coach you'd want to rally behind here.....

He's a tactician, and understands the game really well. I just don't think he adjusts as well as he should to whatever current reality is going on in the field.

That said, he's held VT close in every game but one, and there were some arguably bad breaks in some of those games in addition to some real bone-headed amateur mistakes. I'd just like to see him pull this one off.

It could be quite comical if the VT vs. tOSU version comes out and we straight whip that ass. Certainly not expecting that... But it would be a fitting chapter in the tale of CML.

Not sure how to feel about the game tonight. My gut tells me the coaches are going the break out everything and the team is going to play as loose as they have since tOSU game. I plan to see a lot of Lunchpail D havoc, Motley, and some trickery as well.

I think the Hokies win today. We beat OSU. Granted that was with 2 stud rookie RB and Luther Maddy. But there is too much talent and hunger for the team to lose today. This should be a good fight tonight. Both teams looking to extend/break the streak.

That was a good drive. Nice cut by JC to get us into FG range. Some good catches by the WRs. Good runs by Motley. Should have been a TD to Hodges but at this point I'll take a FG.
