That looked like it was Jarrett blowing it again. AM sees it but gets blocked. Jarrett is late recognizing the play as a run and his pursuit is too late. He's a freaking senior and he's let this team down so many times this game and this year.

Jarrett hasn't played well this season at all. He's been anything but a SAFETY.

Yea, you can't really play Foster's style of defense with that kind of execution.

Which makes you think Foster needs to do something different. Like play someone else. There just isn't the consistency there.

I am sure it's getting interesting. Not that it was necessarily the case today, but I am surprised that Bud hasn't had a fucking coronary after carrying this program the last few years.

The offense has been so inept for years, the sad thing is that I don't know that Bud is giving 100% anymore because of it.

The defense is fun and exciting, but not nearly consistent enough. I like aggressive, but it gets costly sometimes when it turns little plays into big plays.

That's bc we don't have the personnel to get pressure without blitzing under Foster's schemes. Our DL is undersized and rarely gets after the QB without bringing at least one LB. With our LB play being nothing special to begin with, and our DBs constantly having to cover one on one, we're bound to give up some big plays.

I have a hard time believing all of this is true, but if so, then Whit needs to make changes right after the UVA game.

Goes back to the lack of priority on recruiting. We've heard that for years about Foster, other insiders are saying he's been stepping it up more this year, but then this guy claims we lost Darrell Taylor over it so who knows.
Foster's a great DC but a pedestrian recruiter. He's had great success plugging in average or even below average players into his system and getting good results I think that has given a false sense of security about recruiting. If you roll the dice too much you're going to get burned when key players go down with injury - like Maddy, Williams and Facyson.
