holy hell it worked.

So I'm split on this, I didn't remember it in real time. It looks like he makes a good block but gets owned by a larger dude and knocked off balance. Can't tell if he dives for the legs or just re-engages and is at knee level after getting "outta my way-ed" by Miller.

I can see from that angle how it could be both dirty or it could be accidental. I can see what he is upset about though, hits like that have seriously injured players knees. I don't think Brown had the forethought to try to hurt him though, as evidence by the hip level block at first.

Pretty much agree with this assessment. Initially completely clean, the second half absolutely not (diving at knee). And to what extent that dive was accidental or deliberate is impossible to determine (yet). Enough deliberate dirty plays that are made to look like accidents by players. So future actions by Brown will day a lot how this should be interpreted.

However, quite often the players themselves have a pretty good feeling about what was accidental and what deliberate - often a better feeling than the refs or officiating committees..

He was MVP that year and looked good the stretch, but then was afraid to pick up the fumble after Miller treated him like one of his chickens

Von Miller is about as far from a whiner as possible. Told his mom to shut up because she was whining to the press about her son getting held all the time. So if Von speaks up about something like this (first time I have ever seen him speak up like this) then you know it is a serious matter. Player tried to end his season and thankfully it didn't work.
