Vols forced to practice at Steve Spurrier Field

Hahahahaha.

Their field got washed out by rain or something, so they practiced at OBC's old high school in Johnson City, TN:

Tennessee coach Derek Dooley said the Volunteers "didn't flip the switch" for Friday's afternoon practice on Steve Spurrier Field at Science Hill High School.

Perhaps that's not surprising given that the field's namesake has a history of razzing the Volunteers.

The Vols handled traveling and moving into dorms at Milligan College well on Thursday night, Dooley said, but didn't adapt well to the different environment Friday, calling the practice "a little lethargic and disappointing."

Here is an interview with OBC, he's asked about it @ 6:40:

"I got a picture of it, I got a picture of all those orange helmets, and white helmets, and a sign on my field up there in Johnson City".

The reporter asks him "did you have to sign off on that", Spurrier responds "you know, they should have called me, gimme a call".
