Bad timing for Miami....got physically beat up by FSU last week and lost one of the best RB's in the country. If this game were last week, Miami wins.

Just saying that Miami would have beat VT this past weekend if they hadn't played FSU the week before certainly isn't a given. VT finally played a pretty all-around game with a good offensive performance and a good (not great) defensive performance which would have been tough for many teams to beat.

Now, if you take the way either Miami or VT played the week before, neither team would have won as both were horrible against FSU and BC.
