I’ve not read that anywhere. Logic tells me that it can’t be post June 1 as we are not post June 1. But I’ve seen this cap game deft elementary logic before, so who knows.

It’s interesting to me. I mean...what’s was the team asking him to take that he wanted to take it to the open market. He’s a good player who just didn’t play up to the contract. But he should be willing to take market value from the team, especially since he grew up a phan.

My guess...with the line stacked the team extremely low balled him, possibly with the goal to get his cap number way down this year and make him more tradable. It’s an interesting business

I don't believe anyone here thought he was being offered $9M from us.

Just like Blount.....what is valuable at a number for the Bucs was no where near for us. I like being in that spot. Good contract snag for Vinny!

Only $11.5 mil of that is guaranteed. He got a $6.5 mil signing bonus and $5 mil of guaranteed salary after that.

It's getting tough to be a true eagles fan right now, with all this winning, and not being able to argue so much eh?? :p

I was not inferring that someone thought we were offering that much. I was actually agreeing and just reporting what he did end up getting. Good business for him. I think we knew he was not staying. There is no accident here, keep it moving. :p

The people gone, I'm most worried about is Burton and Blount (in that order). Most glad we kept Brandham. Most concerned we will still lose... Darby.
