I would hope that a 5 year veteran starting SG is better than a rookie who played 7 games.

Weird is an understatement

If I were a Pacers fan I would sooner post a "You all said we got fleeced in the George trade. Suck my Oladipo!" thread than some random comparison of a rookie PG and a 4th year vet.

I, for one, was shocked it wasn't an Oladipo >> George thread.

Not for Cane it's not.
Almost made this very post, rather close anyway. As I was thinking 'Y'all must not know Cane very well'. LOL

That said TF, we go back a long ways and have quite a history with the dude, don't we? :dhd:

Who can forget his 'Derek Fisher used his Daughters Eye Cancer to get traded back to the Lakers' thread.

Think he still stands by it. Who knows though, I guess he's gone for the Month...

I remember that thread - I thought that was the work of Utah Jazz fans because all of them had this strange idea that once you played for their team, you owed it to play for life or you was a traitor. They argued that they had plenty of good doctors in Salt Lake City, but I pointed out that Fisher's daughter had a highly rare type that could only be treated in a few places in the world. I was really put out with their stupidity because my brother had the same situation and died back in 1976 - We had to go to Los Angeles due to the rare type of cancer. I didn't know that was Cane - I should have known

Both are former #2 overall picks. That's enough of a reason for me to compare the two.

Just about everyone an their mother on this board were all over Lonzo's balls (pun intended) during the summer basically saying that the Lakers' long-term future is better than that of the Pacers in large part because of the presence of Ball.

With this post I'm going to go on word by saying Oladipo will have the better overall career.

You don't know your ass from a hole in the ground when it comes to my history at CBS.

Because you only showed up once Kobe started winning titles without Shaq and once LeBron signed in Miami. I've had you as a star-driven diva for a long long time...
