JUCO 7 footer Johnny Hamilton commits to the Hokies. He's got 2 years left. I don't know jack about him but what I'm reading is he's primarily a defender and very raw offensively. And judging by that pic, someone get him to the strength and conditioning room asap.

What's front court depth? Is it that where when your 7'0" center fouls out, you put in a 6'7" walkon to play center?

Is it ever bad to have a 7'0 on your team though. Even if he discourages a few shots a game I don't find the harm in that. It isn't like we are tearing it up with other C recruits. Just my $.02.

He really needs to add some weight to be ready to bang with the ACC though. I do see your concern overall croc, I just don't think the state of the program is where it needs to be to get the players we want right now at center.

I thought most teams put restrictions on it where you couldn't go in conference. Guess not.

I don't think we could have controlled where he went because he is graduating in May. There is something in the NCAA rules about graduate school and not having to sit out and be blocked from transferring to certain schools. I forget what they are exactly.

Buzz doesn't appear to be high on UF's list. I was worried about the Texas opening, but think Buzz is safe for the time being. Yeah, so far so good. Seems like the top candidates are Miller and Chris Mack. I would think UF would definitely get one of those guys

Been following it thru the day and no one seems to know anything. But I think its safe to say that if Buzz is has been pursuing him, there must be a roster spot coming open at some point.

Still nothing confirmed with the Outlaw stuff but it appears that the scholly is open because a current player doesn't have his academics up to par. People are guessing who it is but it just seems to be all guesses, nothing with any real substance.

Heard some rumors about Zach LeDay having academic issues. Surprised Wilson or Muller haven't decided to leave on their own....I imagine their minutes will be limited next year.

Incoming freshman Justin Robinson was named a Parade HS All American. That's the kind of talent Buzz Williams has coming to Blacksburg.
