Alabama 56 Mercer 0
Alabama 52 USC 6

Alabama average vs SEC Least in 2016 & 2017 47-6

Last 10 years vs SEC Least 27-0, average score 38-11, including SEC Championship Games and Playoff/NC games.

Last and only loss by Saban to an East team was 26-23 in OT to Georgia in year 1.

You say Tomayto...

To be fair, your are you comparing one game ooc vs an average of a few games for half a conference. What do you expect the result will be?

Which was a fucking joke.

Yeah you're right. USC finished higher than every team in the SEC except Bama. LOL. You had to go all the way to #13 8-4 LSU for the next highest SEC team. The SEC was a joke.

I see LSU at #18 and SEC West champion Auburn at #12.

USC was a 10-3 team that got blown out 52-6, the 3rd largest margin of victory for Alabama that year, barely beating out Miss St's loss of 51-3 and Kent St's 48-0 loss. Our FCS opponent had a better margin of victory. And yes...our 2nd string played the 2nd half, just like it did against USC.

Yeah, when a team is being compared to 6-7 team that only went to a bowl because of graduation, a team that went 3-9 and a FCS team - it's a fucking joke for that team to be ranked #3.

As for "The SEC was a joke" - total combined score of the Pac12's top2 teams vs Alabama that year - 76-13.

"But the AP voted us #3 because we beat Penn St in the bowl game we haven't realized doesn't mean shit anymore".

Tho that game was 2 years ago USC opened their season with entirely new coaching staff outside of their head coach, They had a new QB in his first start who was over evaluated. I think had Daronld started, USC most likely would have lost but the game would have been a lot closer.

I’d say USC deserved to be ranked #3 the way the season played out in 2016. They played an absolute meat grinder of a schedule against six end of year ranked opponents, drummed playoff team Washington on the road and also beat the Big 10 champ Penn State in the Rose Bowl. The Big 10 was the best conference in the country that year and when you couple that with the fact that Ohio State got absolutely embarrassed 31 to 0 in their playoff game I think it makes sense that USC finished third in the rankings ahead of Washington and Ohio State.

Because a different QB would have stopped both your O-Line and D-Lines from getting dominated like a highschool team all game.

They lost to Alabama(by 46 pts), Stanford(by 17 pts) and Utah (by 4 pts) is why they shouldn't have been #3. You basically just named off their only decent wins of the season.

It's was all hype over the Rose Bowl, where they beat a team with 2 losses already. Which is funny because that's been USC tradition - can't earn shit on the field, look pretty for the AP and get ranked where you don't deserve.

Ohio St and Washington should have been ranked higher. They weren't because of knee jerk reactions to playoff results, where USC would have lost(and did lose) worse.

While I disagree, I’ll give you that possibility because Washington and Ohio State each lost one less game than USC did. But it’s also important to keep in mind that USC played a harder schedule than either of those two teams did.

Yeah, not reading your stupid ass excuses. USC finished #3 no matter what your ass has to say and it finished higher than 127 other teams including every SEC team except Bama. lol.

Washington plays in the Pac12 north and played every team USC lost too, including Alabama.

USC lost to Alabama 52-6, Washington lost 24-7
USC lost to Stanford 27-10, Washington won 44-6
USC lost to Utah 31-27, Washington won 31-24

The only thing really in USC's favor was they won the head to head by 13. But that was Washington's only loss on the season.

What would USC have done in the playoffs that would have been better than Washington? Nothing. Would USC have scored against Clemson that year? They only managed 6 against Alabama. But because those 2 teams made it to the playoffs and played tough teams(2 toughest in the nation by far that year) they get jumped by a 3 loss team who played a team not even in the top4.

It was bullshit for USC to be ranked above them.

Excuses? Alabama beat the 2 best Pac12 teams by a combined score of 76-13.

You're just a name brand cupcake.

Btw, am I the only one who finds it funny how much "conference champion" doesn't matter when they are ranking teams later? Not that I think that's why Washington should be ranked ahead.

I guess it's only a bad thing when it's Alabama being ranked ahead.

Yeah and contrary to your opinion Alabama isn't the whole SEC.
