Friday, November 17th:
Quarterfinals:

Mercer vs. Liberty -- 1:30
Drexel vs. Houston -- 4:00
Quinnipiac vs. Colorado -- 6:30
Drake vs. Wake Forest -- 9:00

Paradise Jam also kicks off this week. Like the Puerto Rico tip off, this tournament has also been moved and is now taking place on Liberty's campus. The game times have also changed because of this. The new schedule is below:

Houston vs. Wake Forest would appear to make the most sense as to who's going to meet in the Finals.

Georgia Southern loss was tough, but they're a Top 100 team that played a good game. Hoping Olivier Sarr will be healthy by Friday. Could be a long season, if Wake doesn't clean up things on defense and limiting the TO's.

Yeah I already checked it out and that's the case, which stinks.

And yeah, I don't think the Ga. Southern loss will be too much of a hit come March. They should finish 1 or 2 in the Sun Belt this year, and if that's the case that might end up being a top 50 team(at least in terms of RPI).

I just checked and its a $30 monthly subscription. Ridiculous, but if the games aren't on WatchESPN, then I'll pay for it.

Yeah that is a high price for just 3 games. lol. I have no clue what their other content is. I do know a couple of these other early season tournament are going to be streamed on FloHoops, so if you're going to get it November would be the month. lol.

Flohoops is also running a series this year called "Deacon Rising", which follows this year's Wake team.

The way that these tournaments take place, do teams apply for these spots or does the NCAA just pick teams from a pool of options that they have?

Pretty sure the schools bid on them, and the organizer for the tournament selects the teams.

Debating if I should pay $30 to watch this team. Major disappoint so far, but unlike the Bzdelik years, they are going to get better. Whether or not that improvement happens this year or next is the question.
