Hoke did a good job recruiting from an outsiders perspective. I am not sure if the 4 & 5 star kids were swing and misses or he didn't do a good enough job in development.

Ty Issac will be a stud for them and hopefully he didn't leave USC due to the new OC.

I think it's a combination of both. There's no question you will miss on some 4 star guys, it's the nature of the recruiting. I honestly feel Hoke didn't develop player well though, because it seemed like a lot of 4 star guys never really panned out. I'm confident Harbaugh will change that.

I think Harbaugh will make sure the competition exist and nobody gets a spot on the depth chart. IMO Shane Morris got the second string spot due to his help in recruiting and he may not have earned it.

Raise the competition and the talent will develop IMO.

Todays the Big Day.

If Harbs wants to salvage this recruiting class some of these first day after dead period guys are going to have to be blown away.

I'm hopeful will land Chris Clark.

Clark will be on ESPN to announce 02/04 but Harbs will have an in house with him the day before.

Saw a picture of Iman Marshall on his official visit...he didn't look overly happy in a coat and hat.

Clark was on campus along with four-star linebacker Roquan Smith, four-star defensive end Shelton Johnson, three-star corner Damon Arnette, four-star safety commit Tyree Kinnel and kicker commit Andrew David. Michigan brought in five-star cornerback Iman Marshall for a visit Sunday

UofM just offered a 2016 4 star QB out of California and that would give UofM 2 4 star QBs in 2016 if he accepted along with Weaver.

I'm reading Clark is going to pick between Michigan and UCLA on National Signing Day. I think we have a great chance of landing him because he enjoyed his visit and liked how the TE will be coached and used here. I'm not sure what Smith plans to do, but were going to be right in the mix for him as well.

Marshall would be an amazing add to this class, to go along with Peppers, but I doubt were high on his list right now, but who knows really. From pictures from his visit, he doesn't look too happy lol. That really doesn't mean a ton, but it could. I think he might not like the idea of the cold weather or he could want to stay on the west coast. He has visits set up with Oregon, LSU, and FSU before national signing and that makes me think he's not as interested in Michigan/cold weather. That's a complete guess though.

Two new commits and other B1G schools hating. Funny how MSU and OSU talk shit about UofM's coach. More threads started by other schools fans than Uof M fans.

Justin Hayes transferring for his 5th year of eligibility:
Justice Hayes Taking A Grad Transfer | mgoblog

Yet another in a long line of RB's that didn't quite pan out during the RR/Hoke years. Michigan hasn't had a quality back is Mike Hart, here's hoping the new staff can change that paradigm, lord knows they have the base talent to do so.

Well, fair winds and following seas Justin! :suds: Best of luck in the rest of your football career, but more importantly life.

Hayes was a victim of a clueless offensive philosophy. When Green showed up overweight I thought he would distinguish himself but the only backs that really ran were Robinson and Gardner in the last 5 years.

Harbs is still on his celebrity tour, Michigan is offering every recruit in the nation......but still no major splash.....I think he will land a top 5 class but other then offering everyone not much going on.
