Thanks. For the cost I think they are worth a try. The Bridgeston Serenity tires are noisy IMO.

Had Uniroyal on a new Pontiac I bought in 1977.
I burned those fuckers off in no time flat.

Hope that helps. :D

I've had Uniroyals long time ago...not the GTZ though so I can't comment on those, but generally speaking they are pretty good tires.

I've had more success with my Infiniti G37 with the Cooper Grand Touring CS5 tire. It's a pretty good balance of performance, comfort, and thread life. I'm not an aggressive driver with these really low profile tires, but I like cornering a little harder than most and this tire hugs the corners almost as good as a performance tire. I had Hankook's performance tires and only got 25k on them barely...These Coopers I had nearly 38k on them when I got a new set of the same tires and I could've gone over 40k easily I think, but you can feel the difference in performance when they get down to the last few thousand miles.

Michelin's are the real deal, but I don't get any more mileage out of them than I do with the Coopers so I save the $40 per tire.

My main desires in a tire is wet traction, quiet ride, comfortable ride. These Uniroyals scored high in all these marks and as I learned are a Micehlin tire product.

Good deal...that's the definition of a quality touring tire.

Sounds like these would be a good purchase. I have Continental on mine, blew out a tire last weekend from a pothole. Took 4 days to order one freaking tire

I have learned in recent years most of the tires installed on the assembly line are not of the best quality. I had a 2014 Accord and got about 25k on the Goodyears, got flat spots on the inside ridge of the tread.

I had Michelin on my Ford Truck from the factory.
They sucked. Terrible tire.

Yes...never had luck with Michelins.

Always check the local prices on Coopers if your size exists because they're often cheaper and usually better.

I am currently running Hankook on one car and truck and BFGoodrich G Force on the Bullitt and the Porsche. Really like the BFs.

Go to Tire Rack and do some research. The people that work there are knowledgeable and helpful. They have approved installers if you buy. When install I get the lifetime rotate and balance.

My first car a 1974 Capri V6 came with Uniroyals.

Took them off for some Michelin ZX.

Until I got my SHO I never much worried about tires. It came with Goodyear Eagle GTs, and they lived up to their name, lasted 1 year.

Went to some BFG Comp T/As. Nice enough.

Then off to Yokohama AVS Sports. 2 sets of those till they stopped making them.

Then some Nitto Invos, too soft for such a big car and I got 1.5 years out of them, although they were nice and sticky.

The Audi S4 came with some Dunlops. Dumped them for the DWS Contis.

The S55 Benz had some all season Yokos on when bought it, quickly swapped to the DWS Contis.
