Georgia, Notre Dame reportedly working to finalize home-and-home series | Saturday Down South

That would be cool. This isn't like a team in another conference where you have to cross your fingers that the game will actually happen. The game will be played if they schedule it.

They are I believe. It is only like X amount of games per year. It is either 4 or 5, I can't remember.

Edit: just looked it up. They play Syracuse, North Carolina, Florida State, and Louisville next year.

We have to schedule 5 ACC opponents a year. Then we're dedicated to our USC,Navy and Stanford rivalries. So we pretty much have four free slots.

Not every year anymore. Just speculating but it looks like we're rotating them and Purdue on close to a year to year basis.

Because of scheduling issues ND plays four ACC teams this upcoming season, 6 in 2015 and then 5 for the remainder of their current deal with the ACC.

ya I was very disappointed. I really wanted to go down there. That was one of the OOC road games I was not going to miss. I have never been to Georgia and really wanted to see a game in Athens.

I also love when huge name teams come to Autzen. Tennessee was a great experience both on the road and last year when they came here. Great fans. Got along with all of them both here and in Knoxville.

Maybe in the future.
