Crawford is only expected to miss a few weeks -- which likely means he'll be out the rest of the preseason -- and the team is hoping he'll be ready for Week 1, according to NFL.com.

Good news and yeah we would be dumb to rush him back to play in a meaningless game. He is a vet and although all players need "game action" to get ready for the season, I'm sure he won't be too rusty without it. If he is back week 1 that would be big for us

Yep why rush back a guy that gets 4 sacks per year? Just being sarcastic. Not a big fan of a mediocre player practically making all pro money
