The young man is starting to look like a one and done.

So far he has 125 assist. And only 32 turnovers. Almost 4 - 1.

He really showed up big in the game against Duke in the Dome where he went for 14 points and nine assists, while also shooting 8-for-8 from the free-throw line.

It's one thing to do that against Colgate. It's another to step up a level against Duke and bury ft's to end the game. The young mans a stud.

No way. Unlike some others, better College player than pro player.

he's being projected to go in the first round. I agree he needs more weight....but no way would I pass up the money.

Look at Smart with OSU. He would have gone very high last year. Anyone that is a lottery pick should go and get established.

he went as a lottery pick....he had to go. And he got a very nice payday. More college hoops isn't improving a guy that is already a lottery pick. There is no choice other than to go pro. If Ennis is projected to go in the lottery, he has no choice but to go.

The NBA is in a much better position to improve a players skills. Passing up a lottery pick....like OSU's Smart did....is not a smart move.

Like you, I would like to see him SU Orange, but I don't think it's going to happen. Hopefully Patterson is ready to step in.

Boeheim thinks Ennis will come back for a second year. I'm seeing him as a lottery pick in every mock draft. What are your thoughts?

Mike Waters:
Chuck,

I disagree with the mock drafts. I don't see Ennis going that high.

He needs to get stronger and he needs to iron out the hitch in his jump shot. He rotates the ball in a circular fashion before going up with the shot. That's why he only takes threes when he's wide open.

I think Tyler can make a very good pro, but I think he needs to make sure he's ready before he makes the jump.
