Good news is everyone is in agreement that the starting unit is struggling a bit. Bosh says they're not playing together while Spo and Wade say they need more time. I agree with all 3. At the end of the day we have to remember that these guys never played a game together last year and also must take into consideration that Whiteside missed the first 3 weeks of camp and did not practice until last Thursday. So roughly the starting 5 been practicing/playing with each other for a week. It will get better with time boys.

I thank you and appreciate you saying this to this clown. I have said it many times. Just because someone in the media says something doesnt make it anymore or any less right than anyone else saying anything. Media are people just like the rest of us - except, they get paid to give THEIR OPINIONS based on facts - but thats all it is an OPINION. Doesn't make what they say right or wrong. Though some members of the media surely have more credibility than others.

Ugh, Uh....Its all on Spolestra. I do wonder how they fit. Green has been much better than Wade. Dragic still does not seem to fit and Winslow seems to be a defensive specialist. Mario is Mario. McRoberts intrigue and Deng and Wade look older.

As the Heat commentators said tonight, Wade is the last player I'm worried about in preseason. He's never been some preseason player

I am worried about Wade... but much more broadly. That knee is my concern. I really would like to see a minute limit on him and him not play the second night of back to backs (or the first). I really believe this team can make a deep run in the NBA playoffs. We are going to need Wade in May. I want those knees as rested as possible then.

Last year he played 31 MPG. We should try to keep it at that number this year

Winslow seems to be a defensive specialist.

This one known about him from his Duke days and part of the reason the Heat drafted and Riley liked. This isn't news. His offensive game is a work in progress but it is encouraging for him to have it down on defense at this stage in his career.

Agreed around 30 minutes seems about right. I would also like to see him come off the bench some nights and let Winslow or even Chalmers get minutes on nights with weaker guard opponents. I know there is a bunch of ego to get through here. But he has to know those knees are limiting him. If Wade is healthy come May, we can do some real damage and have an outside shot of taking the East (probably would require Cleveland having injury problems).

Pretty disappointed Ennis made the roster. I was in favor of going with 14 players leaving a spot open for a 3 point specialist we can sign

Agreed. He should come off the bench but this is what I have been calling for since our last failed championship run - Him not being able to admit he has lost a step and unwillingness to take on a lesser role for the better of the team and himself as the main reason why I still refer to him as Diva - it just fits right.

As for Ennis or any of the back end of the roster guys filling up the 15 man roster - we know thats not a big deal - those spots always seem to change for the Heat more often than for any other team around the league all through the season.
