Haven't watched a single second of pre-season. I see more negatives than positives being pointed out in this thread about the team - which is comical considering I always get accused of "overreacting" - This is why I don't watch pre-season - i still believe all games have some level of importance, but to a certain degree and with perspective. There is very little or nothing to be made of preseason - good or bad. Starters are probably playing limited minutes, if at all.

I have seen that Hassan continues to struggle from the free-throw line but the Heat seem to do so as a whole more than they should - this is one of the many things "going wrong" now that will surely be fixed by the time season starts. See you opening night.

I hope I am wrong, but I don't see a team that plays well together YET and I am seeing an aging Wade and Bosh. Dragic does not seem to fit. Seems like we might be a 6th or 7th seed. Carmelo on ESPN predicted us to finish various games under 500 and miss the playoffs. Not sure this team as constructed is guaranteed to make the playoffs even if healthy....but we shall see.

You're jumping to ridiculous conclusions in October. This team played 2 games with their full starting 5. There obviously will be growing pains and they'll need time to get adjusted. Do the starters look bad together? Yes. Do I expect them to look anything close to this in December? Hell freaking no.

This isn't football. It is an 82 game season over 6+ months. We'll be fine. The only thing that concerns me is how willing we are to take 3 point shots for a team with not many shooters. We have a soft schedule in November. We'll be fine.

My one concern in preseason is the amount of 3's we attempt for a team who can't shoot well from 3. Need to play to our strengths more rather than chucking up nearly 20 3's nightly. Should only take between 10-14

Who cares what other people are saying? You worry too much about the media. Find me anyone who had GSW winning the title or had Atlanta has the top seed last year in preseason. Shows you how little the media knows. If you let the media influence your thoughts on any team it is a really stupid idea

Most of the media has us as a top 4 seed or as one of the top contenders to the Cavs crown. In am making my observations by what I am seeing thus far individually and collectively. Also, the one outlet that predicted our poor finish was a computer program which takes the emotion out of it.....

Only way the Heat miss the playoffs and finish several games under .500 is if Bosh, Wade, Whiteside, and Dragic all miss a total of 100+ games
