Possible. We won't know for awhile.

That stretch of road that they were on has claimed a lot of lives. Where they apparently crashed is a sudden, very sharp turn and if you're not prepared for it and/or are travelling very fast at all...you can end up in real trouble.

It's especially tricky at night.
