Could easily see the Hawks Trading down to acquire MORE picks.
Without trading players, I see these as possible matches.
Draft Value Chart in Italics.

Sea #26 to New Orleans for #32 and #103 and a possible late rounder thrown in by NO.
( 700 versus 590 + 88 + later round )
Neither team has a 4th or 5th, so this might not work for NO.
I know Seattle likes to accumulate picks, so if they acquire #103, they may trade it (#103) for 2 later picks to another team.
So, would NO move up and not have many mid-round picks?

Sea #26 to Pitt for # 30 and # 105.
( 700 versus 620 + 84 )

Sea #26 to Cleveland for #33 and #108.
( 700 versus 580 + 130 )
Cleveland loses a later pick here, and Gathers their 3rd first rounder. If Clev sees a guy they really
like here, they still have #52 and # 65 and give up #108. Clev needs MANY players, and moving up
7 spots to forfeit a later pick (#108) might be just what Clev needs. They would still have 5 picks in
the first 65, like they currently do, would Clev would go awhile without picking after #65 (next pick
#145). Question is, will 3 1st round picks be too much for Clev. (ie Richardson and Weeden, lol), and
cost wise too.

Sea #26 to Dallas for #28 and #133.
( 700 versus 660 + 40 )

It sounds reasonable as the Hawks are prone to trade down. However this is dictated by their draft board and who is left/gone, what trading partners are available, and other lesser factors like their future cap status.

One thing I have learned about this management: No one has a clue what their draft board looks like but themselves.

With the depth on defense, I wouldn't be surprised to see them trade down...

I suppose it wouldn't be all that surprising. I guess I'm hoping we don't because then that would mean a player we wanted really badly was there at 1.26. But just like with the Sherm trade talk, if some other team comes in with a great offer then go ahead and do it. Maybe a team picking early in the 2nd will want to jump up for a QB who is still there at 26.

I'm in the same boat as you are. Take the best CB available to pair up with Sherm unless one of the top 3 o-line guys happens to fall. If that happens the go CB in the second.

Very Strong chance they trade down. That is almost like saying the sun will rise again tomorrow, Not 100% but close lol.

If they trade down i am fine with it because we need the picks and we need them now ( 2017/2018 ). We all saw what losing Earl did to the defense late last season and they might have fixed it with the FA signing but there will be more issues on this defense and soon. Need to start putting picks, TALENTED young players, back on the defense and they need numbers to do that (as in more picks). While i feel there is some young talent on the defense now there is also some aging talent like Bennett, Avril (DE'S) both 31, Rubin (DT) is 30. Kam and Richard Sherman are both 29 and not getting any younger. Now i am sure they have many more years left out of these guys ( 2+ maybe from each? ) but they need to start grooming that "NEW" younger defense.

Need picks to find these "replacement" pieces so trading down doesn't bother me one bit. Even better if they can land one of the top 5-6 CB in the 2nd round and get a couple picks. In my eyes this draft has to be a good one in finding future starters and hope 5 years from now we here them talking about the Hawks 2017 NFL as the key to their continues success :D

Best case would be the talking heads debating which draft class was better for the Seahawks the 2012 or 2017.

schneider did an interview not long ago where he said he doesnt like the depth of this draft and basically said he is fine with not having a lot of low round picks this draft.

of course, this could be a total smoke screen hoping some team will up the ante for our 1st rounder when they see a QB on the board that they want with KC picking right after us.

Trade or not, I'm just hoping that we are able to snag Jabrill Peppers. Even with his diluted urine sample, he would be a great addition to the team and offer amazing flexibility to our D.

I'd like Jabrill or Obi. I have a funny feeling Jabrill will go early 2nd (if not late 1st) but Obi will likely be there mid 2nd.

I've wanted Obi since Jan-Feb or so.... he just fits the team so well. CRAZY good athlete, hard hitter, is a Kam replacement should a) we let him walk/he tests free agency, or b) he gets injured, and he's a WONDERFUL asset in nickel formation since he can act as a sort of hybrid linebacker given his tackling skills.

It just makes so much sense to me.

Reviewing the bidding on this after watching Schneider's pre-draft presser. He seemed stuck on the notion of having just 7 picks and only 2 after the 3rd round. It seems quite unlikely he would end up making all 5 of those 1st-3rd round picks as they sit right now. I'm thinking 1 or 2 of those 3rd rounders (comp picks can be traded now) will be used to pick up another pick(s) and get back into the 4th/5th round.

I think its likely a qb needy team gives us a bundle of picks for #26

move down 5 spots for a 4th? hold out for more from a team that needs a QB.

I would expect that at 26, JS is looking at 3 or so guys he would be happy with at pick #1, so a trade down to pick up a 4th would easily make sense.

Is there ANY of my trade situations that might happen?

I still think Seattle TRADES DOWN.

I think the teams that need QB will get them early. Not a great class of QB's this year.

Either way we win. More qbs go high, better chance at a steal when our pick comes up
