Trade Deadline Week - 2018

Admittedly I have not really been paying attention to his season. But is everyone all excited about the same Derrick Brassard who is an insufferable douche with a jaw and shoulder made of glass?

I get that when you give a Pens fan a piece of rope, they are suddenly a cowboy, but this seems over the top for Brasshole.

Not sure where this is coming from but he's played at least 80 games each of the past 4 seasons and is on pace to do so again this year. Don't know about the douche part but he scored 11 pts in 19 games as his team made the conference finals (the third conference finals in his career) last year. If he's a douche, it doesn't seem to bother his teammates much.

Brassard got traded to Pittsburgh for a 2018 1st, Ian Cole and a goalie prospect named Filip Gustavsson. Good return for the Sens there. The Sens also retained some salary.

With his PIMs and size, I was thinking Napoleon Complex. Looking at his numbers the only way i can see him getting a cup of coffee is a revenge game like the Pens had with the Islanders 6 or 7 years ago. Those games are few and far in between any more.
