Using the info YOU supplied, in both 2008 and 2009 WVU had a tougher schedule than in 2013........

WVU played more ranked teams in 2013 than in 2008 and 2009.... combined!

Both game time ranked and year-end ranked.

After looking at the article, looks like we only start with 3 ranked teams this year. If the B12 has an average year, they will finish with 4 in the top 25. Add Alabama, and we still may rank below 2002 as far as SOS.

When you compare the bottom of the schedule, 2002 had far more weak opponents. Tenn Chatanooga is no comparasion to Towson this year, Kansas and Iowa are no worse the Rutgers and Temple of those days.

Did you look at the article that was posted, BB? There is more to strength of schedule than purely how many ranked teams, which is the stronger schedule, one with 12 teams ranked 26-37, or one with three teams ranked 23-25 and the rest hovering above 80? READ the article that was posted, it had BOTH 2008 and 2009 stronger than 2013...................

That is true!

It is interesting how WVU had to go out and find tougher oppt's for the OOC in '08 and '09 to improve the SOS... and, last year... the SOS simply took care of itself... just by being a member of the Big 12.
