mariot pitched well, but not well enough. it's pitching performences like tonite and throughout the season that makes me very sanguine about the future.

well baseball is next to get the over haul. I dont think Tom will fire anyone while he is here unless things get really really ugle (understanding it can't get much worse) But I dont think Tom wants to have any potental ill will against him after he retires.

Bo Pelini would never stand for moral victories.

In case you were serious..

"A moral victory occurs when a person, team, army or other group loses a confrontation, and yet achieves some other moral gain. This gain might be unrelated to the confrontation in question, and the gain is often considerably less than what would have been accomplished if an actual victory had been achieved."

Another 'tough loss' for the Huskers tonight and another lost series.

Mizzou--12
Huskers- 7

It really wasn't that close as it was 12-5 going into the bottom of the 9th.

Huh? The future? Marriott is a junior and probably will bolt if/when he is drafted after this year. He pitched well Friday does it not say anything about the future unless that future entails us being a bad baseball team until we get a new head coach.

BTW, we've officially been eliminated from the Big 12 tournament. Second year in a row. Embarrassing. Certainly expect more out of a guy who is the second highest paid coach in the Big 12.
