I have an owner interested in Pollock and Machado. He made a nice offer of Odorizzi, Moose and Werth. I rejected, but it's not a bad offer. Just wouldn't feel safe with Moose despite how good he looks, and I'm high on Machado (and he's hot right now too).
I could use an arm like Odorizzi though, and feel I can afford losing Pollock. Gonna try a straight up offer, but if he rejects, would you add Phil Hughes and take back Werth? What are your thoughts on Hughes? Does he get better? Peripherals look the same, just seems to be getting hit more often.
I like to sweeten a pot, but is this too much?
This is my points money league, btw, and Werth would be in my 4th OF mix with Guerrero and Crisp (who is 0 - 25 so far...begging me to drop him so he can hit .500 the rest of May!)
