I mean, I tune in casually from time-to-time. I watch other teams far more than I do the Raptors, mostly because I mostly focus on basketball in the playoffs and the Raptors have never played more than 12 games in any single post-season.

But that statement is ridiculous, whoever said it. This team didn't do much to improve from last season, and for a so-called defensive specialist Casey hasn't seemed to have had much of an effect on the team's defending. It's still atrocious.

They're both on the block. Have to be. Only one I think they consider untouchable right now is Jonas. DeRozan is a free agent in a couple summers, and the history of pending FA's re-signing here is a pretty good indicator of how that'll probably go. Lowry could fetch a good return from someone somewhere.

If Masai wants to stockpile picks and try to rebuild like Boston's done, that's definitely an option. He's traded "stars" before, and knows how to maximise the return.
