Follow it closely this year. Then you won't be so surprised when they make everyone fit next year.

I think they're riding the cap increase wave about as aggressively as you can...this yr the projected max cap is $178 mil...up only $9 mil from LY.

I don't see how they will be able to go into 2018 and even fit a draft class, without some major cuts.

We need defensive talent but still need to pay Mack......we're going to have to draft it.

They could really put their chips in if they want to win. Grab Teddy or Alex Smith, use that cap room, use those draft picks. They're the biggest wildcard of 2018 right now.

They still have Hue Jackson in charge.

I think if Brees decides he wants to keep playing, the Saints and him work something out. They are built to win now and him and Payton have so much chemistry and history and he is the perfect guy to lead that team.
Garrapolo should get signed to a long term deal by the niners but could get the franchise tag as well so that takes him out.
The only real big signings at QB I can see are Cousins (obviously) and Keenum. I think the Vikes likely keep Bridgewater of the 3 they have but I could be mistaken. Guess it depends on their play-off run a bit. Either way, at least one QB from Minny will get a big payday. Bradford will likely sign on somewhere but I doubt anybody will invest a lot on a guy who can't stay on the field.
All the rest on the list are serviceable back-ups at best.

Bradford's contract will be incentive laden, very little guaranteed imo.

That would not be a bad move for both. CPT Kirk would get a hefty ransom for going there. Cleveland has 5 picks in the top 65.
Sure last year they went 0-16 but they lost 4 games by 4 points. 7-9 not out of the question next year for them with a good draft and a QB like Cousins.

Not in the AFC North.

4-12, maybe 5-11 would be a rousing success after an 0-16 campaign.

Cousins is the biggest free agent this year. He could change a team. He would make the Jags elite.

Before they lost to the Bills......on the NFL Network's pregame show.....an insider said the Jags are leaning heavily towards bringing Bortles back. The owner likes him a lot. For some reason.

I think its a pretty good bet he is the reason they lose this week, doubt its Fournette or the defense

Cant imagine how you bring him back at $19 million

He reminds me of Flaccid Joe, except Joe advanced in the playoffs and won a SB. Except, Bortes is a better scrambling QB.

Would anybody be surprised if the Jags let Bortles go and the Browns signed him?

Not likely...he would make the Jags more balanced and that changes the team imo, but he's not elite, and they don't have elite air weapons. I think they're the favorite to win the DIV next year with him, but Kirk hasn't proven anything in the postseason yet.

Would be the best team in the league and it wouldn't be close either. Not going to happen which is dumb, but hey, that's the Jags for ya who had every opportunity in the world to upgrade the QB position and chose to do nothing.

No, and no, but I think we're going to see JAX bring in some QB competition if they struggle on OFC in the DIV game this week.

CLE...yeah Bortles is better than what they have, but I think they can do better than Bortles.

They'd be a top 3 team. They are already among the top 8.
