Is that what it really is as of week 4? Or is that just who you think?

Come on man. It's bad enough you make these ridiculous claims on our boards.

In terms of fewest points given up the first three teams on that list are correct, with KC and NE tied. Move Carolina up to four, get rid of SF and put NO at five to have the entire list correct.

I don't know how good NE's defense is or isn't, but having played Buffalo, TB, and NYJ figures to have contributed to them allowing only 34 points through three games.

SF's defense has held only 1 opponent under 24 points in their past 9 games, going back to last year. And that was the Cards, who couldn't score against air last year.

Yeah, and it's 3 games in with the Pats not having been tested by a top offense. Not just dissing NE either, even the Seattle stats are skewed because of the teams faced and home field, etc. I do think we have an elite defense and will still be at or near the top by season's end but right now, all that matters is winning games, especially ones we are supposed to win. No other stats matter until at least, Thanksgiving.

Interesting. I didn't realize that nor would I have guessed it ... before seeing how Indy ran the ball against them on Sunday.

Agree with all of that. I do think it's at least somewhat interesting, however, that NO's defense has been surprisingly good so far. If that continues, they could be very good.

SF should not be considered in the top 10. Without looking at any numbers, it seems as though NO and NYJ should be considered as top units. Cinci's D has looked pretty solid too. Chicago has done well.

1. Seattle
2. Carolina
3. New England
4. Kansas City
5. Chicago
6. Cinci
7. NYJ
8. NO

I still think NYJ and NO will fall off at any point though

Denver's D is straight up trash, look at the points they have given up to those opponents. Jax has a better D than them

Not sure if you're trying to be provocative or if you are just that uniformed, but that is wrong. Denver has given up 73 points in the three games, which ranks 17th in the league. Over a third of those points have come in fourth quarters, when Denver has had big leads. The Denver offense also runs a lot of plays and scores a lot of points, giving teams extra possessions. Denver's defense is also tied for first in the league in INTs, 5th in the league in the opposition converting third downs, and tied for 10th in sacks. Not a top defense, but far from "trash". Also figures to improve when Miller and Bailey return.
