Maddux, Glavine, Smoltz and Chipper were all first ballot HOFers.

Bobby Cox and John Schuerholz got in as well.

So 6 members from the 95 WS team made it. Kind of makes me sick that we only managed 1 WS, and it was when I was 4 years old.

Andruw got enough votes to stay on the ballot this year, but barely. He's arguably the best defensive CF of all time and had over 400 career homers. He'll get in eventually, even if it's on the veteran's committee.

But still, never refer to Chip Kelly as Chipper again please.

I see a lot of WV love early, are they going to be that good? The defense was an utter mess and their OL was pretty weak. I get the QB and WR spots are bad ass, but is the rest that much better? (Serious question, I haven't looked into what they return)

Honestly our Oline was pretty solid last year. When Grier went down, Chugnov held the ball too long and got creamed. But yeah, defense was a mess and some of our best secondary players are gone. I think the basis of what we return is leading people to believe this could be a special year. But Kstate returns just about the same if not more and they deserve some love too.

Arkansas gave up any chance they had to be relevant when they left the SWC to take the SEC money. They lost all the recruits from Texas. If they would have held out and joined the Big 12 they could have been a national power. At least top 20 every season. But now they are what they are. Great school but middle of the pack at best in the SEC.
