Polar opposite belief here. I think ND runs them out of the gym, sort of like Syracuse and GTech did. FSU can't play on the road. ND's 3 point percentage was nuts that night, but they can also play a zone and make FSU shoot it and keep it low scoring

FSU can be bipolar on the road. But I think they righted the ship a little bit with their last road game with the convincing win @ Miami. Plus they are playing lights out in their last 3. ND is kinda limping into this one.

Should be a good one I suspect. better than the St. Mary's-Zaga game later, that's for sure

Also, to get back to what the committee revealed. People keep saying they are going to be looking at analytics and metrics, but out of the top 16 teams in the RPI 15 of them were among the top 16 teams revealed. The only team that wasn't was UCLA, ranked 20th in the RPI. It's pretty obvious KenPom wasn't used, as least for this reveal. We'll see what happens on Selection Sunday and if they stay consistent with their approach.

I wish they would reveal the last 4 in, first 4 out, and next 4 out as well.

That would be pretty neat, but I can understand why they don't. Alot of things could be determined by what happens in conference tournaments when determining those positions.

Considering every projection had them as a 4 seed or better it was shocking to me.
The thing is those are projections. This today was where teams are night now. I probably still would have had Wisky on the 4 line but what you're talking about and what we saw today are 2 different things

You were saying?

ND is a good team. I see a sweet 16 or better in their near future if they get the right matchups

Like I said bipolar. Lol. The bad/dumb FSU team showed up today. ND has the potential to make the S16 again. They're so good on offense.

Unfortunate. Kenpom loves my team. Up to #30 currently. Was #143 at this time last year.

Yeah but Wake is currently 31st in RPI. They need a couple top 50 wins and I think they'll get in.

Three weeks from now these 16 teams will look completely different. It's a time frame on a time line.

I think the order will change, but in terms of a group...

1. Villanova (1) 1. Baylor (3)
2. Louisville (7) 2. N. Carolina (5)
3. Kentucky (12) 3. Florida (11)
4. UCLA (15) 4. Butler (13)
Midwest West
1. Kansas (2) 1. Gonzaga (4)
2. Florida St (6) 2. Oregon (8)
3. Arizona (9) 3. Virginia (10)
4. Duke (16) 4. W. Virginia (14)

... I would say that's pretty damn close to the 16 best teams. Maybe replace one of the teams with the B1G winner, but anybody can beat anybody from that group without having their best game.

I thought they weren't going to be integrating metrics until next year?

You may be correct, I'm not sure. I do know that they had a meeting about it earlier this year. Whether that was for next year or this year, I wasn't sure.
