The only ranked opponent we played that season was Duke while we faced 3 ranked opponents this year. Some of the in state teams dragged down the OOC SOS this season.

In 2015 Wisconsin played Duke, Oklahoma, Georgetown, who all finished top 25, played Boise State who made the tournament as an at-large, and UAB who won C-USA tournament.

Quit looking at the ranking of when Wisconsin played them. That's dumb.

That's what I've been saying this whole time, and it's why Butler is the committee's #13 overall team and Wisconsin is at best #17. Butler has two wins in the committee's top 16, including their #1 overall seed.

Unfortunately we won't play a single top 4 seed from here on out so even if we win out we might not even become a 3 seed. They will be forced to give us a 4 seed but I doubt we get the 3 seed. Oh well, it is what it is and all they can do is beat the teams they face. Can't say they didn't try to schedule outside of the conference as they had Creighton, UNC, Syracuse, GTown, Marquette, Tennessee, and Oklahoma.

Curse them, they're turning into a bunch of Skip Bayless'.

Nobody can out moron him. I found myself one day, after the Packers beat the Cowboys watching Undisputed and I just laughed, nothing but pure shit out of his mouth

It was a pretty similar schedule to this season but they were lucky that year that a few of them actually turned out to be decent. I guess we will just have to schedule Kansas, Kentucky, Duke, Arizona, and Nova.

Wisconsin didn't capitalize when they played the best teams on their schedule. Losing all 3 by double digits probably leaves a bad taste in the committee's mouth. Plus beating the likes of Nebraska by 1, Rutgers in OT in the last couple of weeks did nothing for the "eye test".

Plus not destroying Illinois by 20+ has to hurt their resume

Going into the season it looked difficult. Hasn't turned out that way. Plus Wisconsin also decided to play Central Arkansas, Chicago State, Prairie View A&M, Idaho State and Florida A&M. Who are all 280+ teams.

Yeah, I was pumped for the season and then it turned out to be a bunch of terrible teams. I don't know how they end up selecting their non P6 conference teams. It's really difficult to know who will be good at that level.

I think we still beat them by 14 and that was their biggest loss at home for the year. They were actually one of the best teams in the conference at home up until that point.

Safe bet, never expect Chicago State to be good. They played East-West University this year. You read that correctly, no need to double check that

And then they lost to Penn State by 13 at home today. Illinois is bad

They seem to recruit talented players but I think they lack the coaching staff. They're the Washington Huskies of the BIG.

Groce has a helluva class coming in. His last few classes have been average in regards to the B1G rankings, but this one is top 10 in the country. I wish he was gone, but I think if he goes so do these recruits

It's not difficult to know playing teams in the SWAC, MEAC, Southland and WAC will hurt your overall SOS. Unless you're playing the best teams in those respective conferences it's going to hurt your SOS. And those teams have been middle of the pack to bottom of the pack in those conferences for a while now.

you ready for the FSU-ND game @ericd7633 ?

I am. I think FSU wins. ND shot like 70% from 3 in Tallahassee and still managed to lose. Odds are they won't shoot like that again, and FSU, with all their bigs is a terrible match up for ND.

Polar opposite belief here. I think ND runs them out of the gym, sort of like Syracuse and GTech did. FSU can't play on the road. ND's 3 point percentage was nuts that night, but they can also play a zone and make FSU shoot it and keep it low scoring
