I thought Foster was hurt. Anyway Mcfadden and MJD are the firsts that come to my mind.

Yeah, maybe Chris Johnson isn't worth 12 million. But. He's had over 1400 yards of total offense in each and every season of his career. Playing for an inconsistent Titans offense that hasn't been able to push the ball vertically. He's not AP, but he's damn good. That's for sure. I don't get the hate. The guy can flat out play. He wanted to get paid. What's the big deal? He had one of the best seasons ever for a RB. Wouldn't you cash in too?

The reasoning for Sproles is weak.

I agree. You're not going to find a young player like him easily. And I'm sure he could produce more than he did last season. He makes for a great decoy. The Saints use him as one a lot.

I don't know about that. Sproles seems pretty washed up to me. Without his lightning-quick speed of his youth he's nothing.

McFadden being on a list like this seems like a yearly tradition at this point.

This looks like the top 10 RBs that you shouldn't draft in fantasy football.

I get your point, but I thought they did make a good point with Chris Johnson. He is the 2nd highest paid RB in the NFL but has been 5 years (2009) since he has really done something spectacular.

2013 - 11th in rushing yards, 32nd in yards/attempt (must have 6.25 carries per game to qualify), tied 19th for TDs

2012 - 9th in rushing yards, 14th in rush yards/attempt, tied 17th in TDs

2011 - 14th in rushing yards, 40th in rush yards/attempt, 31st in TDs

2010 - 4th in rushing yards, 21st in rush yards/attempt, 6th in TDs

2008 - 1st in rushing yards, 3rd in rush yards/attempt, 3rd in TDs

The team around him blows. It's him, Jake Locker, and nobody...

Putting guys making a mil on an overpaid busts list is kind of stupid.

I'm surprised Percy Harvin didn't make the list. I guess he was excused because of his injury but he made a LOT of money for not much work. Maybe he redeemed himself in the Superbowl but as far as value for the money I'd say he should be on that list.

Exactly my thoughts… But I had Foster in one of my leagues last season. I took Tate as a backup in a later round, but he didn't do anything either. Hot garbage!

I think signing almost all free agent running backs is a mistake. Its too risky and too many running backs will be amazing one year and god awful the next. See chris johnson. I miss the days of barry sanders, walter payton etc, elite running backs that would produce regardless of their offense. Nowadays besides adrian peterson..I think almost all running backs are a product of their offense, specifically the oline and coaching. Barry sanders, walter payton, jim brown...they were true running backs, and they had the moves a running back should have where he can be successful even with a bad oline. Build an oline and find a cheap running back. They are a dime a dozen.
