Watching golf is similar to watching paint dry. Romo should have been more dedicated to football than golf early in his career and he could have been a better QB.

Oh brother........really?

what a pathetic post

pathetic posts remain in the eye of the beholder

same as the same ole pathetic threads started about the same subject.

opinions vary but I also think Romo's early years weren't as focused on being the Dallas Cowboy QB as his later years. Frankly, I'm not sure how that could even be debated

The best thing is when people talk shit about how they play golf, but really suck at it LOL

Compared to tour players, every amateur sucks at golf.......
I average in the low 80's........sometime I venture into the 70's
But I am jealous of scratch golfers. They putt and play at a different level.
And tour players, are far above scratch golfers.

I am not a great golfer at all i shot in the 80's, but I know a lot of people that wear the nicest gear and the most expensive clubs and think they are really great, but cant break 100. I just laugh when they get on the tee box take a miillion pratice swings and hit the 50 feet lol.

Struggled? LOL, who said that? The term was more focused.

since we're cherry picking stats
His last two complete seasons as the starter
2013 31 TD's and 10 INTS
2014 34 TD's and 9 INTS

OH, and that 2014 season was his career best Completion Percentage of 69.9 %

AND... his last four seasons he threw 124 TD passes....48 picks

Nice try kid, but no cigar

Man is that not frustrating. Or you are waiting and they hit 5 balls off the tee lol I have walked off after a few 5 hour rounds. Hate it.

I take it you can't hit a 5 iron.

I only need 4 clubs in my bag: 1 3 wood, a 3 iron, a 7 iron, and a putter. My driver consistently gets about 225 yards. My 3 iron consistently gets about 170 yards. I use my 7 iron for chips and various traps. My putter I use for throwing in the lake.

I keep a spare 8 or 9 for wrapping around trees.

No I don't mean purposely slicing into the fairway, I literally mean leaving a silver colored decoration around a damn tree.
I don't play but 2 or 3 times a year, and swear off golf at least once every outing, then I get a beautiful drive that I can barely see land and I then say "See I know I can beat this game".

Next outing I'm swearing off golf by the 11 hole.

Wash, Rinse, Repeat.

I have a spare sand wedge in the bag, for throwing one after hitting it thin and putting it in another bunker across the green

Thank Goodness Quincy Carter got cut or Romo might have been playing for someone else...

How about Undrafted, Small School, Not ready for the NFL.

Players walk in day 1 starter at Qb plenty now. Back then it was very rare. Quincy Carter started his first regular season game ever vs TB. Romo was a baller. He would have figured it out
