this is my first year paying complete attention to Nascar and I'm calling the first time winners pretty well

Screw Tony. How about Jeff Gordon? Gets wrecked with a few laps to go after a hard, late charge to the front with Martin from way in the back, then makes a pit stop to repair the damage, avoids two wrecks and still somehow manages to finish sixth.

I'd of put my money on him to win the race had he not gotten wrecked.

Call him what you like, he's still the best fucking driver on the circuit and at nearly 40 years old...lol Pretty sad for everyone else.

Mr. Johnson never sniffs five championships without the introduction of "The Chase" and influence of Jeff Gordon that quite simply got him into Nascar to begin with.

Gordon should have six championships himself, but Nascar stole two of them from him.
