Tom Brady injured at practice

He got hit by former CU Buffalo Nate Solder. His knee and it looks bad, but of course we will have to wait and see.

Oh the irony.

He returned to practice and completed a few balls before he called it a day. I don't think this affects much beyond the preseason.

Most are still concerned. Practicing is a good sign but until we get official word there's still some chance.

Someone on another thread pointed out that when he blew out his ACL in the Chiefs game and missed an entire season, he walked off under his own power.

He practiced and threw a few more completions as well. Doesn't mean he's fine but I'm not throwing in the towel as of yet.

I think he will be okay.. Looks like Nate fell backwards on landed on Tom Brady - sort of unavoidable. Still, an injured Brady is better than anyone the Jets will field this year. The Jets are bumblers, and always will be bumblers.

Of course, good point. Hopefully they are just being cautious with him and he is ok. Hate to see a great QB go down, even if it is a rival team.

Last I read they said he actually "jogged" off the field. I doubt it is an injury at all. I hope not, I would hate to see them have that excuse. I think Tom is just in the habit of making the most of it every time he gets touched.

Reports are negative MRI, he is day to day. I am glad he is not hurt. It would be terrible to have the season over before it starts.

I hate Tom Brady like most Bronco fans, but I'm honestly glad his knee wasn't blown again. I saw that little clip when he got rolled up on by Solder, and I honestly thought it was over for him. It looked like your typical blown ACL and/or MCL.

He doesn't play against Tennessee this season (Bernard Pollard), so he should be fine...
