So if I were to say Lakers make the playoffs at #6, nobody would be allowed to say anything?

Well I didn't say you're not allowed to say anything but slamming someone in the way you did for being a biased fan of his team just leaves a bad taste in my mouth. Just an FYI, most fans usually think higher of their team than neutral fans. I had the Heat as the 5th seed because I'm a homer and believe in my team more than a neutral fan. I fully expect most to have the Heat as 6th or 7th.

As for the lakers in 6th, that is slightly different due to the conference they play in. But if you had the Lakers in 8th, I would disagree but I wouldn't slam you for it. Just like I disagree with Cane about his Pacers prediction but not going to attack him for it

His prediction wasn't crazy. He didn't have the Pacers as a top 3 team which would mean they're approaching 50 wins. He had them as the 7th seed and in the east that could mean roughly 39-41 wins. Not that crazy

A team projected to win less than 30 games isn't making the playoffs, even in the East.

Where are they projected less than 30 games? Everything I've seen on Indy got their projected win total between 31 and 33 games

I agree to a point. However, one can be an avid fan of their team, but still remain objective enough to understand what they have.

I'm as die hard a Lakers fan as there is, but I have 35 wins as their absolute ceiling and will consider anything over 30 wins to be icing on the cake.

If I were to project them to make the playoffs, I would expect to be called on it, even if it was only as an 8 seed.

For one, you could have at least had the temerity to make predictions like most others in this thread.

Second of all, I'm the only Pacers fan on this site. So, for every Pacers fan on here there's at least 30 Lakers fans. If a Pacers fan makes a high prediction on their team, then maybe he has inside information and is onto something. If a Lakers fan makes a high prediction on their team, it's repetitive jibberish.
